Frequently Asked Questions – Group Career Coaching 

  1. How does it Group Career Coaching work?

It’s a process facilitated by an experienced coach with a group of people planning a career change or anticipating their next move.  Each week, the team individually completes various exercises using a visual planning tool The Career Compass, developed by The Grove Consultants, and can share their observations, insights and questions with the group for discussion.

  1. How can Group Career Coaching be helpful to me?

While most people prefer to work on Career Coaching one-on-one with a coach, working with a facilitated group is a more cost-effective option and offers opportunities to get feedback, ideas and support form a group that’s completing the same process together. It also provides a forum to get different perspectives from people working in different roles across a variety of industries and locations, which can be helpful in many ways, especially for people who are contemplating a career shift.

  1. How is it delivered?

The program is delivered virtually via Zoom.

  1. How often do you run them?

Twice a year. Programs begin in July and November.

  1. How much time do I need to commit to this?

The program consists of six bi-weekly sessions that run 90 minutes each. There are exercises to complete between sessions which typically take approximately 2 to 3 hours to complete.

6.  Is it the program confidential?

Yes. Confidentiality is a key ground rule that has to be agreed to by all participants, including your coach, and is stipulated in our Client Agreement.
