Julia Holladay owns Personal Mastery Coaching and is a certified professional retirement coach with a Master’s degree in leadership. Julia calls herself a “later-in-life” coach, focusing her practice on navigating transitions in the second half of life and non-financial retirement planning. She received additional training with Retirement Options, The Retirement Project, and Minds at Work to enhance her knowledge related to life planning, mapping change, and charting core values.
In addition to coaching clients 1:1, Julia facilitates Re-Ignite Workshops for professionals, 50+, looking at exploring, planning and creating what’s next beyond the career years. Teaching classes on longevity and well-being is also a passion of Julia’s, as she loves learning about new ways to stay vital, engaged and young at heart. The goal in her work is to inject optimism and realism as clients redefine themselves answering the question, “What else is out there for me?”
Julia earned her BA in Communication from Emerson College in Boston and went back to earn a Master’s degree at age 50 from the University of San Diego. A businesswoman and entrepreneur at heart, Julia owned a commercial theater and team building company for 16 years, winning the “Small Business Award” from the San Diego Chamber of Commerce and “Women Who Mean Business” from the San Diego Business Journal.
A native Californian, Julia loves to travel the world and plans adventures as often as possible. Her favorite passion is cooking and she also enjoys yoga, riding her bike, walking her dog, and boogie boarding when it is at least 68 degrees . A wife and mother to four children, she considers these roles her favorite of all.
